3 Days Antalya Tours- Modern and Archeological

Antalya is a popular holiday location on the Mediterranean where you can gaze at the stunning blue waters and lie on the white sandy beaches. Roam a very modern city with one of Turkey’s finest museums.  Wander around the charmingly preserved old city of Kaleici and learn about its’ importance as a great Roman Port. Close by are some great archaeological sites. The South Coast of Turkey is beckoning you.

Explore the rich history and natural beauty of Antalya, Turkey on this three-day tour. Day one takes you to the ancient city of Perge, the magnificent theatre in Aspendos, the ruins of ancient Side, and the stunning Kursunlu Waterfalls. On day two, you will visit the Evdir Han Caravanserai, the ancient city of Termessos, and the breathtaking Duden Waterfalls. Finally, day three includes a tour of the old city of Kaleici, with stops at Hadrian’s Gate, the Clock Tower, and the Kesik Minare, followed by a trip on the Tunektepe Cable Car.

Day 1 Antalya Perge Aspendos Side 

You will be picked up from your hotel between 08.00am and 09.00am depending on where your hotel is located and start your tour with the ancient city of Perge. Archaeological finds in Perge date back some 2000 years.  After this visit we stop for lunch at a local restaurant.

We continue the tour to the second site, Aspendos to see the magnificent theatre, one of the Roman Empire’s greatest remaining pieces of architecture.

After visiting this incredible site, we venture onto the ruins of ancient Side, and we will see the splendid Agora, Theatre and Temples built in marble around second century AD.

Our last stop for the day is the Kursunlu Waterfalls, which are one of the spectacles of nature in the region. You will be dropped back at your hotel around 17.00.   Overnight in Antalya hotel.

Day 2 Termessos and Duden Waterfall

We will pick you up at between 08:00am and 09.00am depending on where your hotel is located and drive to our first stop which is Evdir Han Caravanserai. From here we will then proceed to Termessos Ancient City through the Taurus Mountains, a city built at an altitude of more than 1000 metres and famous for resisting Alexander the Great in 333BC.

After exploring this fascinating site, the tour then continues on to the upper Duden Waterfalls.  The water flow continues downstream and provides what is known as the Lower Duden Falls; a waterfall that drops off a rocky cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea in a dazzling show. We will return your to your hotel around 17.00. Overnight in Antalya hotel.

Day 3  Old City Antalya  Tours

Pick up from your hotel between 09:15am and 10:15am depending on where your hotel is located. We start by visiting Kaleici – the old city with cobbled streets (wear comfortable shoes) and then walk to see Hadrian’s Gate, The Clock Tower and The Kesik Minare (Broken Minaret). We finish our historical tour with Tunektepe Cable Car,. Return to your hotel around 16:30.
